If you're here, chances are you resonate with the farm aesthetic - gardens, old rusty implements, animals, antiques, everything. I keep things pretty simple and I love to share my studio and gardens, pets, and rusty farm implements with my "tribe".
A lot of us work full time and it can be challenging to get in everything that we want to do. I know I love to see what other people do with their spaces- sharing creates community and can give inspiration too.
I like to think of myself as a modern day farm girl- It may look untraditional, but it fits today's world. There are a lot of us out here creating, growing, canning, harvesting, even if it's just a bushel of apples in the Fall. We work full time in careers and raise families. We fit in as much farm girl stuff as we can into our busy modern lives, sometimes bits at a time or whole fields at a time.
At the core of it, our desire to live simply and slowly, embracing the values and dedication it takes to live that way. I can't think of any other community I'd rather be a part of.
